Summary:
In today's work environment, subject matter experts are being increasingly asked to train fellow employees, outside stakeholders and clients. Often these "instant trainers" are not familiar with the principles of adult learning or the techniques for designing an effective learning experience. This course provides a comprehensive tool-kit to help you acquire the core skills of a professional trainer. It provides practical help in designing training, and gives you an opportunity to practice in delivering a training session you have designed. Applying a structure and process that guarantees good results to a work-related topic of your choice, you'll learn how to define the learning objectives and design the training session using active learning. You'll get practical tips in presenting and personal feedback from your instructor on how to better engage and maintain your learners' interest. Finally, you will learn how to evaluate the effectiveness of your training through the collection of short-term and long-term feedback.
